Synopsis
Nathan Chapel is an obsessive artist and creator of the comic book series "Death's Requiem". Lately, Nathan has slipped in meeting his deadlines, putting his livelihood in jeopardy. He is cynical, witty, but troubled beneath the surface. He also harbors a dark secret. After a fatal accident, Nathan has a near death experience, during which he visits what he perceives to be Hell. Upon returning to his normal life however, the hellish visions continue to haunt him as he sees demons wherever he goes. Nathan seeks the help of a therapist, Ben Abrams, in dealing with the trauma caused by his accident. Meanwhile, he develops an infatuation with a young girl, Sarah occupying the apartment next door, an infatuation that leads him to abandon his responsibilities to his work and paint portraits of his new muse.
