Synopsis
NathanChapel is an obsessive artist and creator of the comic book seriesAzrael. He is cynical, witty, but troubled beneath the surface, healso harbors a dark secret. Nathan has completed the 36th and finalinstallment, his masterpiece complete he's lost the will to go on, so takes hisown life in dramatic fashion. In a strange twist he is returned from the otherside.
Uponreturning to his normal life, his world is invaded by hellish visions thathaunt him as he sees demons wherever he goes. Nathan seeks the help of atherapist, Ben Abrams, in dealing with the trauma caused by his accident. At therapy he strikes up a connection to Sarah, a young girl searching for herfather on the streets. The bond grows and Nathan finds a reason to live, andinspiration for a new direction in his art.Trouble brews as those close to him begin to die in mysterious ways, Nathansearches for clues to put an end to the deaths, and as he does he hits theradar of Detectives Grisham and Mancina. As the pieces of the puzzle cometogether and obsessive fan blows a massive hole in their theory as he killsDetective Mancina. As Nathan struggles to reveal the truth behind the deaths,he is forced to confront the demons of the past, leading to a climactic battlewith the forces of Hell.
