Death’s Requiem 30’: Death’s Requiem 30’: Partnering with the Australian Film Commission, Death’s Requiem represents Maddfilms first foray into fully funded film making and the results are outstanding. The imagery created by Director Marc Furmie with DOP Carl Robertson and production design by David Ingram is nothing short of breathtaking. Synopsis: Nathan Chapel is a terminally ill comic book artist who possesses a lifelong obsession with death and a voyeuristic preoccupation with his self-destructive neighbour Sarah. When Death himself, comes to life to haunt him, Nathan must confront his greatest fear, leading him to a final act of self-sacrifice that seals his fate.

The New Life 10’: Partnering with New Dark Ages, The New Life was Written and Directed by Daniel Giambruno as a show piece for The Rite. The World Premiere for The New Life was at the Brno International Short Film Festival, in the Czech Republic in 2006 – the 46th year of the festival. It has since been selected for 7 other festivals. The Grieved 6’30”: Made by the Psyclops team on a miniscule $2,000 The Grieved shows the talents of Writer Steve Willems, Director Matty Limpus, DOP Denson Baker and was produced by Tim Maddocks for Maddfilms.

Synopsis: Surrounded by his dead comrades, the last survivor of his platoon, a battle weary soldier must fight his own internal war before returning home to the woman he loves.
