MADDFILMS creates market driven films, working with award winning cinematographers, sound designers and art department professionals. Always stepping up in creative ambition and scope and not defined by genre. Starting from short films like Death’s Requiem, and a brief period of music videos and commercials, Maddfilms has since gone on to deliver five feature films and a telemovie to market partners including Epic Pictures and Grindstone / Lionsgate. Casting is just as critical as crew, and Maddfilms has worked with screen legends such as Jack Thompson, Billy Zane, Temuera Morrison, Isabel Lucas and Gillian Alexy.
About Tim Maddocks
Tim has always believed that the best films are collaborations and as such has worked with other companies on delivering the script to the screen.
Having trained as a cinematographer and line producer he’s always looking out for creative solutions that deliver quality to the screen while being on time and keeping the budget in mind.
Keeping an open mind to various genres, Tim has also worked in high end documentary on multiple occasions with Definition Studios on their IMAX slate and premium quality nature and wildlife television.
