SYNOPSIS
Like The Shining meets Stranger Things on a ship, Down Into The Deep is a fun, supernatural horror/thriller set on an
ageing ship found abandoned twenty years ago.
The opportunity here is that the actual ship, the M/V Cape Don exists on Sydney Harbour with easy access and features
a myriad of incredible, atmospheric locations.
Set entirely at night, the ship is a key character in the story and as the drama unfolds the ship will come alive, revealing
it’s secrets moment by spooky moment.
The ship will be dressed to serve two realities and time periods. The first, is the contemporary look where the interior
looks abandoned, dusty and trashed with nothing but stray moonlight and an iPhone flash-light to explore the ship.
The second look portrays the ship in it’s heyday twenty plus years ago where the ship interiors look pristine and lived in.
In this world we’ll have lighting and cabins that look like someone has just walked away. The ship will look alive.
